HUMAN IgG SUBCLASS LIQUID REAGENT KITS

ثبت نشده
چکیده

In normal adults, IgG constitutes approximately 75% of the total serum immunoglobulins. Within the IgG class, the usual order of concentration of the 4 subclasses is IgG1> IgG2> IgG3> IgG4, but the actual concentration of each may vary markedly between individuals. The four IgG subclasses show considerable differences in their properties, including ability to fix complement, to bind to macrophages and to pass through the placenta. Abnormal levels of one or more subclasses may be associated with certain conditions, including anaphylaxis, autoimmune and gut diseases as well as hypoand hypergammaglobulinaemia (ref 1). In particular, reduced production of IgG2 in children may be associated with recurrent infections (ref 2). The subject has been reviewed (refs 3, 4 and 5). Roche turbidimetric analysers permit fully automatic, rapid quantitative measurement of precipitation reactions for protein determination and can run IgG1-4 assays concurrently.

Levels of immunoglobulins of isotype IgG and IgG2 in subjects lacking formation of IgG antibodies against lipopolysaccharide of Chlamydia.

In some patients with antibodies against LPS antigen of Chlamydia, specific immunoglobulins G are not present. The findings of isolated anti-LPS IgA/IgM antibodies are to be considered as possibly non-specifically or "false" positive. The aim of this study was to investigate if there is any difference in the level of total immunoglobulins of isotypes IgG and IgG2 in probands with isolated posit...

LC-MS analysis of polyclonal human anti-Neu5Gc xeno-autoantibodies immunoglobulin G Subclass and partial sequence using multistep intravenous immunoglobulin affinity purification and multienzymatic digestion.

Human polyclonal IgG antibodies directly against the nonhuman sialic acid N-glycolylneuraminic acid (Neu5Gc) are potential biomarkers and mechanistic contributors to cancer and other diseases associated with chronic inflammation. Using a sialoglycan microarray, we screened the binding pattern of such antibodies (anti-Neu5Gc IgG) in several samples of clinically approved human IVIG (IgG). These ...

Adult reference intervals for IgG subclasses with Siemens immunonephelometric assays in Chinese population

OBJECTIVE To determine the adult reference intervals for the Siemens IgG subclass reagents. METHODS 636 blood samples of healthy adults were analyzed to determine the level of IgG subclass using the reagents of Siemens immunonephelometric assay with molecular biology kits. RESULTS IgGSc reference intervals were as follows: IgG1 4.45-9.76 g/L, IgG2 2.07-8.57 g/L, IgG3 0.08-0.80 g/L and IgG4 ...

IgA and IgG Antitransglutaminase 2 Antibodies in the Diagnosis of Celiac Disease

Screening for celiac disease (CD) dramatically improved when techniques able to measure blood autoantibodies against tissue transglutaminase 2 (TTG) were developed. Although typically increased in CD, these antibodies are not pathognomonic since they are also detected in several other autoimmune processes. IgA deficiency among celiac patients is more frequent than in general population (up to 2...

Genome-Wide Association Study on Immunoglobulin G Glycosylation Patterns

Immunoglobulin G (IgG), a glycoprotein secreted by plasma B-cells, plays a major role in the human adaptive immune response and are associated with a wide range of diseases. Glycosylation of the Fc binding region of IgGs, responsible for the antibody's effector function, is essential for prompting a proper immune response. This study focuses on the general genetic impact on IgG glycosylation as...
